The Hutchinson Lady Dragons topped the Seward Lady Saints 52-40 Wednesday night in the Hutchinson Sports Arena.  Hutch held Seward to 31 percent shooting as SCCC was 1-15 from three point range in the loss.

The Lady Dragons led 7-6 after one quarter and led 19-14 before a 21-16 lead at the half.  HCC led 38-25 in the third and 38-29 after three. Hutchinson led by as many as 16.

Hutchinson shot 40 percent from the field making 3-16 from three and 11-15 at the free throw line.  Hutch out-rebounded SCCC 37-29.

Ari Gordon was Epic Touch Player of the Game with 15 points and five rebounds.

Hutchinson wins their sixth straight over the Lady Saints and is 17-0 overall and 11-0 in the Jayhawk.  Hutch has won 55 games in a row.  Seward has dropped three of their last four falling to 11-6 overall and 6-5 in the Jayhawk.  Seward plays at Garden City Saturday at 2pm on 107.5 with Saints Shootaround at 1:45.  The Lady Saints will be featured on the Southern Pioneer Electric Green Line Show at 6 Thursday night on 1270 and 92.3.
