Huelskamp Makes It Official: Files Paperwork to Run for Congress

State Senator Tim Huelskamp filed today for the Republican nomination in the 1st Congressional District. Huelskamp also paid the $1,760 filing fee to guarantee his spot on the August 3rd ballot. The filing deadline is June 10th.

Huelskamp is a farmer from Fowler, Kansas. He leads all 1st District candidates in both total money raised and cash on hand. He has been endorsed by individuals and groups such as Gov. Mike Huckabee, Kansans for Life, Gov. Rick Perry, The Club for Growth, Gun Owners of America, and Congressman Ron Paul.
