Kansas State Senator Tim Huelskamp who is a candidate for U.S. Congress in the big First District held a telephone conference on Tuesday with members of the media including KSCB. Huelskamp announced that he has launched his first television campaign commercial titled “Tax Day” which focuses on his record of tax cuts. The commercial is thirty seconds long. Huelskamp is the first of the seven candidates to begin television commercials.

Huelskamp campaign manager David Ray also added that the other six candidates in the Republican primary are all saying the same things such as promising lower taxes and repealing Obama Care. Ray said this commerical helps points out the difference between Huelskamp and his opponents, which is that you don’t have to trust him because his record proves that he will do those things since he has already done them in the state senate.
