Hudson Brown and Daniel Nguyen Win a Match at State

For the first time since 2011, Liberal High School boys tennis was represented at the state tennis tournament.  The doubles team of Hudson Brown and Daniel Nguyen and the doubles team of Parker Brown and Emmanuel Garcia became the first participants at state since Vince Nguyen and Duc Nguyen in 2011.  Brown and Nguyen had a first round bye and lost to Blue Valley West 6-1, 6-0.  They bounced back with a win over Wichita North 9-4.  They were eliminated 9-2 by Derby.  Parker Brown and Emmanuel Garcia lost to Manhattan 6-2, 6-1 and lost to Derby 9-0.
