Horrendous Stretch Costs Lady Skins

Great Bend used a 17-1 run to in the third quarter for a 45-43 win over Liberal in the Big House Saturday night. It was tied at 15 at halftime and Great Bend led 11-9 after one quarter buoyed by three first quarter three pointers. LHS led 19-15 early in the third quarter but saw the Lady Panthers (7-11, 4-3) run circles around the Lady Redskins (9-9, 1-5) during the 17-1 run to lead 32-20. Great Bend led 36-28 after three quarters. Justice Norah was held to just 11 points in the loss. Liberal plays at Garden City Tuesday night at 6 p.m. on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
