Hooker’s baseball team begins play in the class A regional baseball tournament Thursday at 1 p.m. in Thomas against 19-7 Hydro-Eakly. The Bulldogs are 11-9 and led by Chad Kennedy who is their top pitcher and leads the team in hitting with a .538 average. Seiling and Thomas meet in the other 11 a.m. regional opener. In district play last week, Hooker beat Beaver 16-1, Buffalo/Fort Supply 8-0, and beat Beaver again 11-0.
