After 10 matches on the road, the Seward volleyball team opened their home season with a statement. Seward spanked Colby (25-18, 25-16, 25-22) Wednesday night in the Green House. The Saints dominated a team which finished second in the Jayhawk West last year and still has a winning record at 7-5 and now 1-2 in the conference. After sweeping Barton 3-0 last week, the Saints are 2-0 in the Jayhawk West which makes a 4-7 overall mark easier to swallow. The Saints play at Hutchinson Saturday at 2 p.m.
