Holcomb Humbles Redskins

After their first 3-0 start in five years, the Liberal Redskins took a 20 point loss to the visiting Holcomb Longhorns Saturday night in the Big House.  The Longhorns dominated the Redskins 57-37.  Liberal was really never in the game.

Holcomb jumped out to an 11-2 lead and led 13-4 after one.  Holcomb led 26-6 in the second quarter and led 28-12 at halftime.  The Horns led the Skins 37-22 after three.

Liberal shot 35 percent and made 2-10 from three point range.

Brooks Kappelmann was Epic Touch Player of the Game with 10 points in the loss.

Holcomb is 4-0 and Liberal is 3-1.  The Redskins play at Wichita South Saturday at about 3:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
