Hitless in Liberal

The Lamar Runnin Lopes (18-8) pitched a combined no hitter in a five inning 16-1 win over Seward at Brent Gould Field in game one of a double header Wednesday afternoon. Artur Maltos-Garcia pitched two hitless innings before Joe Wahl pitched three hitless innings. Lamar scored four in the fist, followed by one in the second, three in the third, two in the fourth, and six in the fifth. Lamar banged out 18 hits. The Saints are in a stretch of 12 games in six days and are thin in pitching. The Saints are 16-11.
