Road Closures 03.19.2025

Seward County is working diligently to clearing roadways. At this time we are opening back up all roadways. Please use caution as roadways may still be hazardous with blowing snow and drifts in areas.

The Kansas Department of Transportation is now opening several highways in southwest Kansas. Closures have been taking place due to extreme winter conditions and vehicles blocking the highways. More closures are not likely, but still possible.

Updates are taking place regularly. To see updates on highway closings and openings, go to the KDOT Southwest Kansas Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SWKansasKDOT. For updated information on highway openings and closings across the state, go to www.Kandrive.gov or call 511 in Kansas or 866-511-5368 outside Kansas.
