Hi-Plains Pizza Hut Founder Passes Away

Longtime Liberal businessman and philanthropist Bill Colvin passed away early this morning at the age of 81. Bill along with his wife Virginia, bought into the Pizza Hut franchise just as the chain was getting started, and grew their company into a multi state business, owning over 70 stores. That business is run today as it was from the beginning, as a family business. The Colvins also continued to remember that it was the support of the community in those early years, that has continued today, that made their business successful, and continued to support all the communities where they owned stores.
