Haystack Fire Keeps Seward County Firefighters Busy

On Thursday June 12th the Seward County Fire Department recieved a call at 10:22pm and responded to a hay stack fire ½ South of Road 13 on Road U.The Firefighters were back in service by 6:58pn on June 13th. SCFD responded with 4 brush/tankers. 2 pumper/rescue, 2 command vehicles and 10 firefighters. Then by 7:10pm the same day, firefighters were called back to the same fire to put out hot spots from hay stack fire.They were back in service by 9:14pm. Firefighters responded with 1 brush/tanker. 1 command vehicle and 3 firefighters respond.
