Hays Holds Down Liberal

Liberal most certainly had their chance. Hays most certainly took advantage of their chances. Hays defeated Liberal 2-0 Thursday on a gray day at the Cornelsen Sports Complex. Liberal led the shots on goal statistic 10-3 and had multiple other opportunities to score but didn’t get a shot on other occasions. Liberal falls to 3-5-1 and Hays is 4-5-2. The Skins are 1-3 in the WAC while the Indians are 2-2-1 in the conference. Liberal falls to 1-2-1 and at Redskin Field after going undefeated on their home turf since moving north into Redskin Field in 2009. The Skins don’t have a home game until October 15 and play at Garden City Tuesday.
