Hays Hands LHS Girls Another Home Loss

Hays High defeated Liberal in girls soccer 2-1 Thursday afternoon at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex. Hays scored the first two goals of the game. The Indians led 1-0 at the half scoring the first goal with a north wind at their back at the 31:57 mark of the first half. Carolina Limon scored the only Redskin goal into the south goal slipping a shot past the Hays keeper with 9:51 to play. LHS is now 3-4 after home losses to Great Bend and Hays this week. Liberal is 0-3 in the WAC. The Redskins play Garden City Monday night at about 5:45 at Redskin Field.
