Liberal senior Hannah McCarter is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  McCarter won the 400 and the 200 at the season opening meet at Ulysses meet April 3.  McCarter won the 400 at 1:03.84 and won the 200 28.57 against the wind.  She is also on the 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams.  She has made it to state all three years of track and field so far.  She has been involved in volleyball, basketball, NHS, and Coloring Club.  She will compete with her teammates Friday in the Liberal Invitational at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.
