Guymon Public Schools have called for a special election for a $500,000 transportation bond on Tuesday, Sept. 10, with polls in Guymon open from 7 a to 7 p. The bond will be used to purchase 1 activity bus, 2 route buses, 1 handicap bus, 1 ag pickup and 1 suburban. There is no projected tax increase and the bond would be paid off in two years, according to information provided from the Guymon School Board.
