Guymon Police Officers responded to a larceny at Guymon Auto Sales on Sunday, October 11.
According to a report in the Guymon Daily Herald, an employee advised officers that the top of a Jeep had been stolen, a fairly new black in color rag top for a two-door Jeep Wrangler valued at $1800.
The rag top cover was on a 1999 blue colored Jeep. Employees informed officers that the rag-top was last seen in tact the Saturday before at around 5:30 p.m. The rag-top was discovered missing the following morning at about 9:30 a.m.
The employee gave the police information about who all had test driven the Jeep the previous day. A medallion was found in the back seat of the vehicle that has been introduced into evidence.
