Guymon Police Detain Juvenile Suspect Making Threats to Schools

On September 17th, at approximately 10:30 am, the Guymon Police Department was notified of a possible threat to the schools. Officers immediately in accordance with the school police department, located the individual and began the investigation. During the investigation, it was found that the individual that was detained was responsible for the post to Guymon Schools. The juvenile individual was detained for terrorism hoax, threatening acts of violence, and computer crimes. The Guymon Police department is taking precautionary measures and working closely the the school police department to ensure the safety of the community.
