Great Bend Takes Two at Liberal

Liberal’s softball team dropped their WAC openers against Great Bend Thursday at the National Beef Family Sports Complex. Great Bend won 18-0 and 22-0.

In game one, the Panthers scored five in the first, five in the second, one in the third, and seven in the fourth. LHS had one hit from Alize Tatum and LHS committed seven errors. The game went four innings.

Game two was even shorter going only three innings. The Panthers scored four in the first, 14 in the second, and four in the third. LHS had 10 errors in three innings and one hit from Tatum.

Liberal is 2-6 and 0-2 in the WAC and Great Bend is 6-0 and 2-0 in the WAC. LHS plays at Garden City on Tuesday.
