Giezi Gonzalez is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior center midfielder Giezi Gonzalez is this week’s Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Gonzalez leads the Redskins with seven assists and is third on the team with five goals.  He had two assists in a 5-0 at Lamar Thurday.  Gonzalez was a first team all WAC player as a junior in 2023.  Two of his cousins Isai Gutierrez and Eduardo Moreno helped Liberal win state in 2011.  Giezi and the Redskins host Hays Thursday night at about 6:30 at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.
