An injury accident occurred early Sunday morning near 600 S Seward Ave in Southeast Liberal. The accident occurred at 2:01 am when a 2003 Toyota Solara being driven by Luis Molina, 17, of Garden City, was fleeing from a traffic stop with Seward County Sheriff Department. The Toyota struck a 2009 GMC Canyon pickup, which was legally parked. Debris from both the Toyota and the GMC then struck a 2011 Chevy Tahoe also legally parked.

Molina was taken to Southwest Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. Two other juveniles were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
