Garden City Grounds Redskins in Home Opener

In their home opener in the Big House, the Liberal wrestling teams hosted the Garden City Buffaloes Tuesday night.  The #2 ranked Garden City girls beat Liberal 60-24.  The #5 Garden City boys beat Liberal 66-12.

Liberal’s Isabela Gutierrez, who is ranked 9th in 6/5A, pinned her opponent.  The Schwindt boys were the two boys winners as there were no open weights.  Aidan Schwindt at 150 and Alex Schwindt at 175 both won by fall.

Liberal has a dual at Lamar Tuesday.
