The Liberal community can again gather together for Fun Runs. The non sanctioned event is open to everyone. The runs are organized to increase interest and enthusiasm for the upcoming fall sports season. The Fun Runs begin at 7 p.m. on the east side of Redskin Field Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week and next week. Fans and athletes can participate in the three mile route by foot, bike, or car.
Fun Runs culminate with a pep rally Thursday, August 11 with a pep rally featuring all of the fall sports at Redskin Field after the Fun Run that night. The Fun Runs return after a two year hiatus.
