Freshman’s Clutch Hit Lifts Lady Skins

KSCB News - April 7, 2009 12:00 am

In her first game as a freshman, she was batting with two outs, two strikes, and her team down one in the bottom of the seventh. That didn’t faze Emily Bayouth. She came through with the two RBI hit to give Liberal a 7-6 win over Goodland in game one at the Liberal Softball Complex yesterday. Brooke Scheuerman pitched Liberal to the win. Liberal won the second game 9-6. Emily Jackson was the winning pitcher. LaTonya Gooden and Brittany Odle both had triples in game two. The 2-0 Lady Skins go to Larned Friday.
