Fowler Woman Passes Away During 5K Run

On Monday, September 4th 2023 at 8:26am, the Seward County Sheriff’s Office, Seward County EMS, and Seward County Fire Department responded to 16350 Road T in rural Seward County for a report of a female subject who had passed out while participating in a 5K run. Upon arrival, first responders located the female who was unresponsive. Seward County EMS arrived on scene and pronounced the female deceased. The female was identified as Cheryll Mann from Fowler, KS. An autopsy was ordered by the Seward County Coroner. There were no signs of foul play.
