Five Meade Buffaloes who helped MHS win state football championships their sophomore and senior seasons are going on to play more football. Chris Hardaway and Trevin Wiens signed at Garden City while Samuel Podrebarac signs at Bethel. Randy Friesen is an invited walk on to Kansas State.

Hardaway passed for 1,178 yards and 19 touchdowns and rushed for 1,157 yards and 16 scores with four interceptions for the Buffs in his senior season. Wiens rushed for 1,654 yards and 27 touchdowns and two interceptions. The 6’8" Friesen caught 15 balls for 244 yards. Podrebarac helped pave the way for the Buffaloes on the line.
