Rim Rock

LHS XC boys and girls team headed to KU this Saturday to run in one of the biggest high school
meets in the Midwest. The meet was held at RIm Rock Farms with over 3,000 runners from 300
schools over 7 different states including Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nebraska,
Iowa, and Arkansas.The meet is broken up into 3 different divisions where the liberal boys and
girls ran in the “Big School” race which included 5A and 6A schools. Each race had almost 300
runners participating.
In the girls race it was lead by Daniela Cerida who ran a time of 21:33 and would finish 59th
place in the field. Coming in second was Isabela Guiterrez with a time of 22:43.30 to come in at
105th place. The girls would finsh in 28th place as a team.
The boys were lead by MJ Foster who would medal with a 13th place finish and a time of
16:49.90. Cesar Pavia woud just miss medal stand by 15 seconds and finished in 34th place
with a time of 17:21.80. The boys would finish 12th as a team.
