Flapjack Find Added to Pancake Day Events

The International Pancake Day Committee, in an attempt to engage the community, has added a scavenger hunt type of event aptly called the Flapjack Find. Participants can download a form at visitliberal.com or pick one up at the Tourist Information Center, 1 Yellow Brick Road, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Once participants have their form, then then explore local businesses listed on the form, in search of a flapjack. Remember, it could be hidden in plain sight. Once the flapjack has been found, all that is required is an employees signature next to the business name. Do not move, remove, or handle the flapjack. Once the form is filled and completed, return it to the Pancake Day Hall of Fame on or before February 2nd, between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm to claim a prize. Prizes will be awarded depending on the amount of flapjacks found and signatures collected
