Experienced Tyrone Aims to Get Back to Winning Ways

Tyrone has experience on their side in 2024.  The Bobcats returns six starters on both sides of the ball for first year head coach Clay Witt.  But Witt is also experienced as this is his 14th year coaching the Bobcat football program.  Tyrone was 4-6 last year but won three of their last five games.  Tyrone has gone 4-6 the past two years after  going 56-14 from 2016-2021.

Tyrone has 22 out for football.  Some of the key Tyrone players are Jr. TE/DE Brenner Witt, Sr. RB/LB Anthony Favela, Sr. RG/DE Wyatt Johnson, Sr. RB/LB Angel Aguirre, So. QB/CB Miguel Baray, Sr. TE/DE/CB Boston Hickey, and Jr. TE/CB Elijah Anguiano.  Wyatt Johnson returns after being name defensive player of the year in the district at defensive end.

The Bobcats do not leave the listening area until October 11.  The Bobcats were featured during Sportsguys Monday morning.
