Ex-Perryton AD, football coach pleads guilty after sleeping with 15-year-old student

Former Perryton ISD athletic director and football coach Cole Underwood reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors.

Underwood pleaded guilty to “enticement and attempted enticement of a minor” after admitting to having sex at least 10 times with a 15-year-old girl in his school office.

In exchange, the federal government dropped the “receipt of child pornography” charge.

Underwood faces between 10-years and life in prison and up to a $250,000 fine.
