Erich Ortiz is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal soccer senior Erich Ortiz is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Ortiz has scored three goals for the Redskins this season.  He found the back of the net twice in last week’s 4-3 win over Garden City at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  Ortiz is one of the senior leaders on the Redskin soccer team.  Ortiz is in National Honors Society and is a Liberal High School Fall Homecoming king candidate.  Ortiz and the 3-2 Redskins play in Hay Tuesday against Thomas Moore Prep.
