Elwin Trejo is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior defensive lineman Elwin Trejo is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week.  Trejo had nine tackles, five for loss, two sacks, a fumble recovery, and a forced fumble in Liberal’s 49-3 win over Guymon at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex last week.  Trejo was first team all WAC as a junior.  He also wrestles.  He and the Redskins host the Hays Indians Friday night at 7 for homecoming.  The game airs on 1270 and kscbnews.net with Redskin Pre-game at 6.
