Eliel Gonzalez is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore forward Eliel Gonzalez is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. He leads the Redskins in scoring and scored three goals with three assists Monday in Liberal’s 6-1 win over Wichita West in Wichita. Liberal is 11-1-1 and plays Wichita East Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in Wichita for the championship of the Wichita North Cup.
