Election Results for the August Primary

Kansas Republicans have nominated Rep. Roger Marshall for the Senate. He will face the Democratic nominee Barbara Bollier. Republicans haven’t lost a Senate contest in Kansas since 1932.

Tracey Mann will be the Republican choice for the US House of Representatives in the Big First, while Kali Barnett gest the Democratic nomination.
For Kansas Senate, Bud Estes will be on the Republican Ticket while Edgar Pando will be the Democrat on the Ballot for November. John Doll will also move forward in the Senate.

Shannon Francis will continue to represent the 125th District in Topeka, while Marty Long moves forward in the 124th District.

Locally, CJ Wettstein defeats Pierre Lamont in Seward County Commission District 1 and Steve Helm wins the District 5 seat over Mary Bloomer and Kris Musgrave.

In uncontested races the winners were:
Stacia Long Seward County Clerk, Kitty Romine County Treasurer, Karen Warden Register of Deeds, Russell Hasenbank County Attorney, Gene Ward Seward County Sheriff, and Clint Peterson District Court Judge District 26 Division 2.
