Eduardo Moreno is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior forward Eduardo Moreno is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Moreno has scored seven goals in two games for number one ranked 1-1 Liberal. Moreno trained this summer for Sporting Kansas City. Eduardo scored six goals in an 8-3 win over Great Bend last Thursday at Redskin Field before netting one goal in a 3-2 loss to the number one team in 4A, Wichita Trinity Monday at the Wichita South Titan Classic. The Redskins play Dodge City Thursday at 4 p.m. after the Red Demons fell to Kapaun.
