Early Sunday Morning Accident Results in Arrest

On Sunday March 31st at approximately 1:44 am members of the Liberal Police Department and Seward County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to 1201 E. 2nd St, J and J Services, for an iPhone detected crash.

Upon arrival, officers observed a Gray 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, driven by a 32-year-old male, wrecked on the property. It was discovered that the vehicle was driving on East Cedar and struck a mailbox causing the vehicle to roll several times after the collision.

A member of the Seward County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Standardized Field Sobriety Test on the driver. At the conclusion of the test, the driver was arrested and booked into Seward County Jail.
