Early Morning Accident in Cimarron County OK

An injury accident occurred Thursday morning at approximately 2:04 am just west of the intersection of
US-56 and N0550 Rd approximately 10 miles east of Keyes, OK in Cimarron County.
A 2009 Jeep Wrangler driven by Jason Richard Gilbert age 35 of Indianola, IA., as eastbound on US-56, when he failed to reduce speed for weather conditions, departed the roadway to the left, rolling three times, with the vehicle coming to rest on its wheels.
He was transported by Morton County EMS to Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, KS where he was
admitted in stable condition with arm and trunk internal injuries.
A female juvenile passenger in the vehicle age 11 of Indianola, IA. was transported by Morton
County EMS to Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, KS. She was treated and released.
A second female passenger age 8 of Indianola, IA was transported by Morton
County EMS to Morton County Hospital in ELkhart, KS. She was also treated and released.
