Hutchinson swept Seward 7-3 and 7-3 Monday afternoon and evening at Brent Gould Field in Liberal. The Saints didn’t have a baserunner through the first five innings in game one and mustered only five hits. The Saints had only three his in game two. Seward falls to 29-19 overall and 15-13 in sixth place in the Jayhawk West. The Blue Dragons are 22-21 overall and 18-10 in the Jayhawk West. The Dragons are in a three way tie for first with Garden City and Colby. Seward can only host a first round series if Colby or Hutch sweep each other or Dodge earns a split at home against Butler. The Saints would have to sweep their four game series at Pratt which begins Saturday at 1 pm on 1270 am.
