Dodge Uses Big Innings in Sweep

Liberal’s softball team was competitive at Dodge City Tuesday. LHS led the first game 2-1 into bottom of the third and led game two 3-0 into the third but lost the games 11-4 and 17-4. In game one, Emily Bayouth was 3-4. Liberal was in the game until Dodge City scored five in the sixth. In game two, the Red Demons scored 12 in the fourth. Liberal is 6-14 and will likely play at regionals Tuesday in Great Bend against Valley Center.
