Dodge City Edges Liberal

Liberal made their only shot count Monday at Dodge City. Viviana Ortiz took Liberal’s only shot and scored in a 2-1 loss to the Red Demons. Crystal Tiscareno dished the assist. Dodge City’s two goals came on a penalty kick and Liberal scored into their own net. Magali Vazquez had three shots against her and saved all three. She was later ejected with a double yellow with 9:37 remaining. Liberal is 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the WAC. Liberal hosts Hays Thursday.
