Dodge City Downs Liberal Girls Soccer Team

It’s a big week for Liberal Lady Redskin soccer.  The team began the week in a three way tie for second with Dodge City and Hays.  Tuesday night at Dodge City Memorial Stadium, Liberal lost the first leg of their two big WAC games this week 5-1 on a wind blown night at Dodge City.  Liberal’s only goal was a Lesslie Galindo score on a penalty kick.  Dodge City led 4-1 at halftime.  Liberal is 3-4 and 2-2 in the WAC while DCHS is 6-1 overall and 3-1 in the WAC.  Liberal hosts Hays Thursday night at about 6:30 at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.
