Derby Dumps Liberal in Tournament Opener

Liberal’s soccer team is 0-2 after a 1-0 loss to the class 6A Derby Panthers to begin the Wichita South Titan Classic Monday. Derby held the Redskins to only two shots on goal while Derby had seven shots on goal. This is a good Derby team who defeated #4 Kapaun 5-3 earlier in the week. Liberal plays Wednesday at 4 p.m. against Wichita South or Emporia.
