Last year the Satanta Indians were 3-6 against a daunting schedule. A solid senior core graduated from SHS leaving behind just two starters on both sides of the ball. There are just 13 players out for the football at the 8 man division 2 school. Kelly Anthony is coaching the Indians for a fourth year and says he loves the attitudes of his players.
Two of Satanta’s key players will be four year starters in Sr. RB/LB Edwin Arana and Sr. QB/LB Joseph Anderson. Other prominent players for SHS are Sr. WR/DB Isaiah Garcia, Sr. lineman Angel Bahena, and Jr. lineman Tony Marino.
