Demons Hand Skins First Loss in Front of Huge Crowd

In front of one of if not the biggest soccer crowd in Liberal, the Dodge City Demons rained on Liberal’s parade with a 1-0 win Tuesday night at Redskin Field.  The Red Demons had the wind in the first half and the Redskins had the wind in the second half.  It was scoreless at the half.  DCHS scored into the south net with 17:04 remaining.  The Demons led shots on goal 15-8 8-3 in the first half and 7-5 in the second half.  Dodge City is 5-0 and 1-0 in the WAC while Liberal is 5-1 and 1-1 in the WAC.  The Redskins play at Garden City Thursday night at about 6:30.
