Defense Helps Lady Red Past Lady Dogs

The Liberal Lady Redskins topped the Hooker Lady Dogs 39-34 Tuesday night at the Dog House in Hooker.  Liberal held Hooker to 10 first half points in the win.

The Lady Red led 16-6 after one and 21-8 before a 21-10 lead at halftime.  LHS led 27-13 and 29-14 before taking a 31-21 lead over Hooker at the end of three.

Hailey Contreras was the Epic Touch Player of the Game with 19 points.  Kamilah Delgado added eight.  Hooker’s Rubi Hernandez and Izabella Neville  scored 11 a piece.

Hooker is 11-6 and Liberal is 10-4.  Liberal hosts Great Bend for homecoming Friday night at 6pm with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and 92.3.
