Cruz and Lara Lead Redskins Past Emporia

The Liberal soccer team won their final game at the Wichita South Titan Classic Saturday in come from behind fashion. Emporia led 1-0 and 2-1 before the Skins rallied to win 4-3. Sammy Cruz scored two goals thanks to assists from Jason Rios and Eliel Gonzalez. Pedro Lara added two goals on corner kicks. Liberal is 2-1 and opens their home and WAC schedule Thursday against Great Bend at about 5:45 at Redskin Field.
