Liberal senior baseball player Collin Ware is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Ware is one of Liberal’s top pitchers this season. The right hander is 3-2 with a 2.19 ERA, 19 strikeouts, and nine walks. He also plays first base for the 9-5 Redskins. Ware also played basketball for the Redskins. The Skins play at Garden City Saturday at noon for a double header.
