City of Liberal’s Tourism Marketing Coordinator, Mandy Read Receives Award

The City of Liberal’s Tourism Marketing Coordinator, Mandy Read, was recently recognized as a Kansas Destination Specialist during the Kansas Tourism Conference. This certification recognizes Mandy’s knowledge of the Kansas tourism business, tourism marketing, and leadership through continuing education.

Mandy began her career at the Visit Liberal office five years ago. “I like the tourism industry because it gives me the opportunity to utilize a lot of my talents to tell the story of a location and entice others to visit. Being able to deep dive into history and the real makings of a community has been so fulfilling for me,” Read said.
