The Liberal City Commission met on Tuesday evening and honored Mandy Read as the Employee of the Quarter for the City, and read a proclamation for Professional Municipal Clerk’s Week. After hearing an update from the Seward County Economic Development Council, the Commission approved the abatement of several vehicles throughout the City.

Commissioners approved the purchase of a mower for the Street Department from Keating Tractor and Equipment in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00, and adopted the Mission, Vision, and Values Statements for the City.
