City Commission Meets, Approves Final Plat of Ortuno Addition

The Liberal City Commission met on Tuesday evening and after an appeal on the condemnation of a property at 809 N. Pennsylvania, the Commission let the Resolution stand however put the owner on a timeline to bring the property up to code, or it would be demolished.

The Commission authorized the Bank of the Plains as an additional banking services provider for the City of Liberal and approved the annual Title VI recertification for the City of Liberal
CityBus program.

Commissioners approved the Final Plat of Ortuno Addition for the continued development of the city. Discussion was also held on the possibility of a new, more secure Communications Center.
